$LEX holders help decide the direction of the project. Vote on proposals with the $LEX in your wallet and in staking.
How it works
- Every $LEX you hold or have staked counts as one vote. Your power is measured at a fixed moment (the “snapshot”) before the proposal starts, so buying tokens later changes nothing.
- You need at least 1,000,000 $LEX (in your wallet and in staking together) at the snapshot to vote.
- You vote by signing a message with your wallet. It is free: no transaction is sent and no gas is paid.
- You can change your vote until voting closes. Only your latest vote counts.
- For now, only the team can create proposals. Results are advisory: the team takes them seriously and explains what it will do with them.
- The result is decided by For versus Against, or, when a proposal is a choice between two options, by those two options. Abstain means “I take part but choose no side”: it only counts towards the quorum, the minimum total of $LEX that must take part for a result to count.
- For a result to count, at least 60,000,000 $LEX and at least 10 different wallets must take part.
